It was going to be windows 2000 home edition. MS was working on ME at the same time and ME won. A big mistake on MS part. |

No... It was after the Windows 2000. First there was Odyssey then Neptune, then Whistler and then XP. It isn't a beta of Windows XP it's was to be an independent OS but it was canceled.
