I have Vista Business x86 because it was free through MSDNA. As many of you probably know, Vista doesnt come with the DVD codec, nor does it come with Windows Media Center. I installed the latest build of this package today and Windows Media Player still will not play DVDs. I heard that it was possible with this package. Does anyone know what I might have to tweak to get this to work?

I know I could use Media Player Classic, but I like WMP. Any help would be amazing.

Thanks!

I can't find a reliable 'free' DVD MPEG2 codec to redistribute. Many other codec packs redistribute clvsd.ax from PowerDVD but since PowerDVD is not freely distributed except when you buy a new burner, and I wish to keep VCP clear of pirated codecs, I do not include this file in the package.
I am willing to make a separate installer for it though, linked above. thumbup.gif

Yes, but the user was already aware of this. The query was, what do i have to do to get them to play in WMP?

I'll have to assume you are refering to the mpeg2 codec linked in the post above.
Its distributed using an inno installer, so use inno switches.
installer.exe /silent or /verysilent
