RTM and beyond Only [ 15 ] ** [78.95%]
RC Stage is as risky as I get. [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]
Beta - I gave props to some, but others i dissed 'em [ 3 ] ** [15.79%]
Alpha - Im on the bleeding edge! [ 1 ] ** [5.26%]
Pre Alpha - Its not so bad once you disable error reporting! [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]
Drivers / System software
Latest Stable Please! [ 13 ] ** [68.42%]
Beta but only its not too new [ 1 ] ** [5.26%]
Beta - I gotta squeeze 3 more frames per second out of this rig [ 3 ] ** [15.79%]
Alpha - Because I can [ 1 ] ** [5.26%]
Pffft!! Noobs. I write all my own drivers from scratch in notepad! [ 1 ] ** [5.26%]
Applications / Games
I'll take the fully tested version. [ 11 ] ** [57.89%]
Beta - The betas been out for 5 minutes and youre still using last weeks build? whats wrong with you? [ 5 ] ** [26.32%]
Alpha - Its a dirty job but somebodys gotta do it [ 3 ] ** [15.79%]

Ok the question is in each of the categories above, what do you tend to favor the RTM, RC, Beta, Alpha, Pre-Alpha, etc

For OS and service packs I go with RTM only. I really dont like beta testing that stuff.

For drivers I use stable release, except for NVIDIA GeForce drivers. Those I generally use betas.

For applications, its a mixed bag. For example I only use Firefox releases but I have no problem with Ad Muncher betas or the latest SMPlayer builds.
