Hello ^^
I been searching throughout this forum, but could not find the answer to this problem or someone else with the same problem, so maybe it is just my setup there is something wrong with. Let me start out by saying I made a clean install of VCP. First 32 bit and then the 64 bit addon. And now the problem: As promised, after installing VCP, many of my mkv files has been generating thumbnails in my 64 bit explorer, and I love it!! BUT, there are still some exeptions. I compared the working mkv's with the not-working ones in MediaInfo and found out that the Codec ID's of the not-working files were all the same. Then I used mkvmerge to change the ID of one of the files and it imidiately generated a thumbnail for file after the conversion. The problematic Codec ID is: V_MS/VFW/FOURCC, DX50 So my question is; am I the only one with this problem and is there a way for me to make thumbnails work on mkv's with this ID? Thank you in advance |

So my question is; am I the only one with this problem and is there a way for me to make thumbnails work on mkv's with this ID? Many x64 issues will soon be resolved. An x64 release of the Haali splitter software is on the horizon. Just wait it out. As soon as this software is available I'll be releasing a new version defaulting to Haali in x64 players instead of the current splitter in use, gabest. shark |
