Is there a codec playing broken mpg files? I have 3 broken mpg files that windows media player/Nero ShowTime player does not play. With VLC it is working fine.
I also want to encode the movies to AVI (divx) but TmpEnc and Virtual Dub only load the first 5 minutes of the movies but the movie duration is over 1 hour (broken mpg).
Many thanks in advance.

I found the solution. Mainconcept Reference can handle those files.
