Hi !

I need to change a harddrive icon shows up in the registry. The problem is that a great possibility was working in Win2k, does not work in XP. This trick was to add DriveIcons key into the registry under LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer with the icon path and the choosen drive label.

But as I said this trick not working anymore.

Can somebody help ?

Thank you in advance,

D.Moore

The old fashion way still works:

Make an INI file named autorun

[autorun]
icon=FAVICON.ICO

Place this file and the icon in the root.
