I have tried several time to do a clean install with the same problem every time. When I make the selection to format as NTFS, the process will start and maybe even make it up to 20%. When it gets to this point the video signal becomes no more, both CD drives start running non-stop, and the hard disk also runs non-stop. I have let it go for about twenty minutes with no change. I finally did it with the quik NTFS format option and it worked. My problem now is that I am getting the same freezing problem that I have seen in another thread where the cursor freezes with no other option but to hit the reset button. Could this be because I was only able to run the quik-NTFS format on my machine? Do I dare to attempt trying the regular NTFS format again? Could this fix my problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks
I run a: 750Athlon 256Mb-ram 15gig-drive nvidia gforce-32Mb soundblast Live platinum5.1 If I am forgetting something let me know. |
