Not working anymore.
Just installed other the 5.5 and not working anymore. In 5.6 : Selected one application, Launch, and nothing (recome to the wizard, nothing installed and no log) Replace with 5.5 : do the same thing, and all is OK (and the log). |

If the optionswizard is opened and you hover over the buttons in the left menu, the tooltips will show in english and with the default ToolTip Style. Can this be changed? Just a cosmetic thing that came with 5.5. It isn't a real bug I think.

I had the same problem as pretender69. I reinstalled Vista (6000) and WPI 5.5 and 5.6 ran fine. I installed one app at the time and found that after installing Nero 7, WPI would no longer work. MS html app host crashes and closes WPI. All my other apps work just fine.

I have WPI setup on a network drive. I get an error if I browse to the WPI folder over the network and run wpi.hta and it doesn't finish running. However, if I mount that network folder as a drive or remote to the server and run wpi locally the error goes away and it seems to run fine. Both computers (the server and the client) are running Windows XP SP2. it worked fine both ways with v5.5. The error is attached.

You must make/take an AutoIt Script to get it work properly... |

%Reboot% issue 1: error: Line 457, char 2, Error: Object expected, Code: 0, URL: file://E:\WPI\Common\Installer.hta
This is when running E:\WPI\WPI.hta from a Memory Stick on driveletter E: REBOOT is the only entry being installed. After the reboot and logon, WPI kicks in again, sets a green check for the "REBOOT", and pops up this window "Internet Explorer Script Error" with "error: Line 457, char 2, Error: Object expected, Code: 0, URL: file://E:\WPI\Common\Installer.hta" I have to end the "mshta.exe" process in Taskmanager. (in Installer.hta there are only 297 lines, so why it is indicating line 457?) CODE prog[pn]=['REBOOT'];

QUOTE REBOOT is the only entry being installed. That is most liekly the problem WPI expects to be able to install things and make commands after a reboot. Not just to end. |

%Reboot% issue 2: When installing 2 applications, with a %reboot% during the install of the first application This too is when running E:\WPI\WPI.hta from a Memory Stick on driveletter E: I only installing PDFCreator and JAlbum I put a %reboot% into PDFCreator's installation cmd2 So PDFCreator cmd1 installs..., then the reboot occurs, then the login, the remaining commands 3 and 6 of PDFCreator get executed, but when WPI begins installing JAlbum an error occurs: E:\WPI\WPIScripts\ExtractToPath.vbs, Line 20, Char 12, error: The system cannot find the file specified. Code 80070002: Source: (null) Thereafter the same error as in "%Reboot% issue1" in Installer.hta.
