Allot of programs I want to use aren't supported with 64 bit windows.

A pal of made me a copy of his clean 32 bit Ultimate DVD.

I have a few questions.

Probably the most asked:

Is the key on my notebook tied only to 64 bit Ultimate?

Is it tied to bundled Ultimate,

Or will it work with any version, including a full version of Ultimate?

Will the only drivers I need be the video card, touch pad & the quick reference keys?

Anything I else I should know/do before making my 64 machine a more useful 32 bit machine?

BTW, my notebook is a an HP dv 9225 with the Turion 64 X2 CPU & nVidia 7600 video card.

Thanks!

My key is tied to 64 bit & to name just a few:

iTunes won't recognize the CD burner, but does recognize it as a player!
Netscape 7.2 shuts down when flash or any other 3rd party add on is installed.
PC Tools Spyware doctor not 64 bit supported
PC Pitstop optimize not 64 bit supported
Linksys wireless N USB not 64 bit supported
Ulead photo impact not 64 bit supported

And these are just a few, but a needed few!

I do have the recovery disks I made with my "old" dv9220 that had Vista Premium 32 bit installed before I returned it but I forgot to write down the product key!

Think HP will send me a duplicate key?

I did register the notebook with them when I got it.
