I loved Deus Ex when it came out. I played it right through to the end. It's one of the games that actually managed to hook me. I grabbed Deus Ex: Invisible War about 2-3 months ago and although the graphics are better I just couldn't get into it as much as I did the first game.

**Possible spoiler**
DX2:IW seemed open ended, but thats untill the last 1/2 hour when you relize that none of your previous actions matter on what ending you get. |

I have played deus ex 2 all the way through and yes it dont really matter what you do through out the game but at the end level you can pick 4 different ways to end the game. ive finished all 4 ways. Save at the important points and you can always go back and play a different way. So since it doesnt really matter what you do you can pick the choices that help you out the most. What ever choice you make will make enemeys and friends. So pick the best friends to help you till the end. Because if you pick them to be your enemey then you will have to fight them till the end.
