You asked us to reply simply, but I am having trouble understanding what you asked?!

What has Nero got to do with Doom? What is the exact problem? The screwed up picture with audio? If that is the problem, then are you sure your PC can handle Doom 3? Does your PC meet the minimum requirements for Doom3?

Make sure you have all the latest patches for Windows XP
Use Direct X 9.0c
Get the latest drivers for your graphics card from nVidia
Make sure your BIOS is the latest version

Hope this helps.

Doom3 killed my ti4600 sad.gif

Problems started happening a few hours into playing it. I lost all lighting in the game, also graphics became very pixely. My monitor would shut off also at higher resolutions. Eventually a few days later it wouldn`t even boot up at from bios.

i think you need a new 3d card if it killed it. have you got any overheating problems?

I agree with Doggie. Next step is replace the VGA card, see what happens then.
