best site to get videos imo is gametrailers; you can select from a choice of formats (flash, mov, wmv), download the video to your computer, and they usually have an hd (720p) version with better quality.
http://www.gametrailers.com/game/2469.html btw there was an irc chat with the ut3 developers a few days ago and one confirmed that there will be a linux installer on the dvd just like ut2004 had. http://www.beyondunreal.com/content/articles/203_1.php QUOTE [EPIC]WarTourist:...linux game exe in the box and mac version soon after.

I know your joking but I really appreciate Epic's effort to make the game as efficient and compatible as possible to maximize its potential audience; you dont need directx10, you dont need a dual core cpu, you dont need a $500 video card, heck you dont even need windows! Of course only a powerful computer is going to be able to run the game with max settings.

"beta demo within two weeks"
http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=578203 QUOTE Folks,
Just wanted to give you a heads' up that we're getting pretty close to releasing the Unreal Tournament 3 Beta Demo for Windows. The Beta Demo will allow instant action play against bots as well as online multiplayer. The purpose of the Beta Demo is to test the game on a large variety of hardware configurations and get gameplay feedback from the community. The development team feels they're pretty close to being ready to release this so it could come out this week but for safety sake I'd say it should be out within two weeks. We have a few fan sites in tomorrow to play the full game and I'm sure they'll be sharing their comments pretty soon afterward. |
