Hi,
I'm thinking about getting a Dell XPS with a T8100 cpu. The laptop is offered through Dell's website and has onlty Win Vista 32 OS. Two questions: 1. Is the Win Vista Premium comes with both 64 bit and 32 bit? 2. According to Intel, T8100 has EMT64 support, so it should support 64 OS, right? Thanks. |

1. iirc only Vista Ultimate's DVD comes with both 32-bit and 64-bit.
2. The T8100 is a 64-bit processor so naturally it supports a 64-bit OS. This post has been edited by anonymous_user: Jul 20 2008, 05:52 PM |
