HFSLIP and nLite can each integrate both Internet Explorer 7 and Media Player 11 on their own, but if you've ever tried it then you know the drawbacks.

Here's an easy way to slipstream IE7 and WMP11 that works great. Tested with XP SP2 Corporate and XP SP2 Home. WGA validation is not needed.

1. Use HFSLIP to slipstream hotfixes and everything except IE7. Don't create the ISO or burn the disc yet. To add Media Player 11, use WinRAR to extract wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe to HF\WMP11\. Feb 2007 hotfixes are listed in my HFSLIP.LOG below. I used HFSLIP v1.3.0.

2. Use nLite on the SOURCESS folder created by HFSLIP to slipstream IE7 and create the ISO for burning. I also used nLite to slipstream my RAID drivers and fill in my XP product key. I don't recommend using nLite's "Options" and "Tweaks" features because they can mess up your setup. I used nLite v1.3 RC2.

Easy

Hi Tomcat, thanks for the info. I had trouble slipstreaming IE7 with v1.3.0 even with IE7SVCPACK=1 so good to hear it works now.

Only the Test release slipstream into the source IE7, the latest final build installs IE7 with SVCPACK method at T-13 and there isn't any problem to install... if you have some problem, check the file you slipstream (for example, I saw people to slipstream IE6 hotfix and IE7 installers, in this way IE7 doesn't install) or you need to Activate Windows before the first wndows logon.
