I was suing the FDV fileset and encountered an unimportant bug. The generated iso works but the W2K install complains that reboot.exe can not be copied. If I tell the install to ignore the file, everything subsequently goes properly. I tracked it down as far as I can. If I place reboot.exe (a utility written for the fileset and thus is NOT Microsoft's) in sources/i386, the complaint goes away. Can anyone confirm? Thanks. Conway Yee |

Yes, I forgot to put REBOOT.EXE into the fixed fileset. It's a looooong f'ing story that I won't even get into You can skip it, though at some point I will put it back. I set up a custom menu item that calls it. If you want it, and it is handy, here it is http://www.vorck.com/windows/data/reboot.zip Put in system32 |
