I was wondering how do you install GIMAGEX into Vista PE? I tried winmaster but I cant seem to make images that are compatible with the windows setup media. I was hoping GIMAGEX would be easier to use instead.

It is designed to deploy WIM images. Is this what you mean? You can create installing WIMs with Vista and Server 2008, but XP and others are just drive captures.

No i mean how do you integrate it into something like Vista PE 2.0. After burning the cd I saw options for all this other stuff but I cant seem to figure out how to make gimagex show up like the other programs do in the start menu for it. |

You did follow these instructions right?
http://www.msfn.org/board/WinPE-20-GimageX...HTA-t97512.html My use of it makes the WinPE load GImageX right off the bat. It uses the following startnet.cmd CODE wpeinit wpeutil initializenetwork net use z: \\unclesocks\seafood\images password /user:kdineen regsvr32 /s misc\GImageX_COM.dll mshta.exe x:\windows\system32\ImageX.hta |
