Ok so I just bought GTA4, I put it in my xbox 360 and it just keeps freezing on me I can't even play 5 minutes of the game, now is it the game itself or can it be that my 360 is going bad? blink.gif

Thanks,Philips08 welcome.gif

I stand corrected, a few people are experiencing this problem:

Call the number on the back of your game box ( X-box complaint ) and complain????

Yes this is all over the place I keep hearing. I wonder why it is freezing since the game is not that big in graphics aside for the sunny side up.

Most of the times in the past people would go to the store and trade it in. Maybe you can do this also.

Would be interesting to know if users experiencing this problem had bad disc drives. confused.gif

which makes me wonder if that was the case, if they had the old HD-DVD drive accessory, could it be used to play the game?

HD-DVD is dead. Toshiba killed the format. Microsoft pulled the HD-DVD drives from the shelf. Id argue that makes them old.
