CRS should be or not in Unofficial Service Pack?

To install CRS after unpacking you need to run CRS.bat. CRS requires G: drive partition. Just you need to translate it with some translators and some parts of documentation in Readme, like: how to make a copy of your system and recover your Windows in 2 minutes.

I didn't understand what you are talking about at all. And what about the G: partition? Few regular users have that many drives.

But not all people have this drive letter. It is a little problem with this. CRS will install on a partition drive letter G only. Not C,D,E,F,H,I... Because It has been done previously. Maybe someone can fix it - to may choosing a specified drive letter during installation. I think that it will be not hard to do this.

CRS it is a little tool what can bring back (re-back, recover) your operating system in 2 minutes if your system crash! There is no need to install Windows again and never!!! And it is not one thing, what this tool can do. (for Windows98 SE only - not for Me and any others).

And now... are you understand what is this? Maybe... we will need some good translators to explain what is this.

Wouldn't it be feasible to simply cmd->subst a folder or drive partition to make up drive 'g' if the user has that drive letter available?

Your link gets to "Nieoficjalny Service Pack Plus dla Windows 98 SE", a polish service pack which was already the subject of a previous thread here (for which we never had any answer to our questions - Is it a hack from Gape's uSP?).

No system recovery or system backup utility.

Please check the link.

Yes it is a hack from Gape's uSP (clone). But CRS it is not Gape's. It's our. Link is good. This system utility exist and works fine and is in archive. And Readme.doc exist also.

There is no need to install service pack in a polish version. Just CRS only. What you talking? Ok, I understand, this service pack it's so good for you and
Gape and is better than his Service Pack. Because it is not exactly the same product. It's better.

Unpack Gape's SP. All of these files from link should be copied to a folder with Gape's SP and than run Infex.exe. Check the last position. Of course some of drivers CD should be Microsoft's, but we using ASUS. Documentation included. Many people in our country thay saying: this is a nicest tool on the earth for Win98SE! You will love this tool! Satisfation guarantied!

If CRS can be modified to use another drive letter or be set up to allow the user to choose the drive letter, I'd like to try it. Any drive letter besides "G" will do. I've got 4 OS on 3 internal drives on this box, which includes 2 separate installs of 98. One is my primary OS, 98FE, and a 98SE test system, plus 4 encrypted drives. Getting the operating systems to all agree on the drive letters took way too long to want to do it over again.
