The closest used to be a service providing FreeDSL (freedsl.com?) but the service has long since gone kaput. Used to be ad-sponsered through a nifty little toolbar that wasn't really invasive at all.

Goodluck trying to find anything beyond dial-up for free nowdays. sad.gif

I just saw it, get Comcast High Speed free for 1 year, after you subscribe to their cable tv and digital phone service.
