You can't support normal, constructive dialog, when you have been caught and got nothing to answer, you simply resort to insults. So I can only suggest the same to you, account #2.

I don't use the kernel, I did, but locally (it wasn't installed into the system). Neither Thorium, nor Supermium need it.

Yes, there's such kind of behaviour in Win 7.

Posting test: string boot .ini causes HTTP 403 forbidden error
D.Draker replied to jaclaz's topic in Site & Forum Issues
Very strange, I can post different links. I remember some users that were constantly posting random youtube videos were restricted, but you never spammed this forum. So, it's strange, indeed. As proof I can post: Crocodile Monitor (Varanus salvadorii) https://a-z-animals.com/animals/crocodile-monitor/ -
Good decision! Hi to you, too!

Me too. Then click in the reply box and it should auto-fill with your previous draft. I use Opera Mini (latest) on Android 11. -

When installing what? SAB or Windows?

@Cixert It's not that simple to switch over to ACPI with an existing XP install. @Dietmar knows how to do it properly and can help.

Why is e-mail the master key to everything?

But where did you read account #2 that I never used what I recommend? If you want I can recommend a very good psychiatrist. -
I don't know if this message that appears in the post is correct. It seems that this board does not have APIC and that the IRQs are limited. The strange thing is that when I installed Windows XP it identified the board as "Standard PC" and not "ACPI PC". I try to install the HAL ACPI manually and the following blue screen occurs. I don't know if it affects the fact that when installing Windows XP the acpi .sys driver will not be installed and if now I have to install this driver manually in addition to the HAL.

As this is a hotfix and it was never released on Windows Update there is barely any info about KB3078919 except for the Microsoft link. The way I understood it is that this hotfix may only be useful for eMMC cards version 4.41 or higher. Older cards would not require it. Or then again this could be a 8.1 problem only... Edit : I just verified and Windows 8 received updates to dumpsd.sys and sdbus.sys through Security/Cumulative Updates until 2019 !! Windows 8.1 never received any updates to those files beyond 2015 for some reason. So I guess this hotfix is indeed only needed for 8.1 then. I do wonder now if it's possible to go the other way around now -> using those updated W8 files on W8.1

@Cixert You may as well try it and see if it works for you. What ACPI BSOD are you getting btw? have you got a screenshot.

I will try it. Currently I also have the problem that the system does not allow me to post links that link to the MSFN forum itself. I don't understand the reason and if it happens to anyone else. -
Thanks, I didn't know that. I will look at it. Although this seems like it's for modern hardware, it's not my circumstance...
-
@Cixert Have you tried the updated community made 7777 acpi.sys?
-
Hate to say it, but for the time being I'm also giving up on both until they improve, both are not usable on my aged systems.

I never found my CPU at 100% on Supermium and Thorium,How did you found it, and what kind of your hardware?
-
I always close this option

I can remember very well that there was a problem with the sporadic disappearance of the Clean Links' toolbar icon in the past. This seems to be fixed in CleanLink2 as far as I can tell at the moment. In any case, I have installed this version and will see how it behaves.

As I already mentioned before, I can't confirm your issue with the logger in uBlock Origin 1.57.2 in single-process mode. Here is a screenshot as a proof:

Thanks for the suggestion, but splitting a disk into multiple partitions is not my goal. I would like to use a single partition. I really can't see my 16TB disk divided into 8 partitions. Also, since the Paragon GPT Loader driver is supposed to work only by enabling IDE mode, which is no longer provided in modern systems, I don't think it's worth spending any more time on it.

Yes, I used those two drivers from Win2003

Just to illustrate, this is what I'm seeing with Supermium, and 360Chrome - And this is what I'm seeing in Thorium - As you can see, the font is completely different. Looks like Time New Roman to me, but might not be from what @NotHereToPlayGames said!
