  1. I now have an upgrade disc and I will try to customize it and report back to you. Regards Were you or anyone else able to get this to work with an upgrade version of Windows 7? Thanks Mike
  2. No since I dont have one but they should be exactly the same as a original W7 disc, I suggest you tried:) I have tried and it doesn't work. Glad to hear you got an upgrade disc, Blue. Let me know how it works for you. Thanks Mike
  3. Has anyone had any luck getting this to work with an upgrade disc? That's the only install cd I have. Thanks Mike
  4. No, it wasn't from an OEM. This is the one I bought: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002DHGM50/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B002JYU5WI&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=14J75PDCAPNN4M5H9Q41
  5. I tried deleting that file and it didn't seem to change anything. It's still saying it won't install on this disc w/o a previous version of Windows. Any other ideas? Thanks Mike
  6. Can you use an upgrade disc to create an unattended install of Windows 7? I have an upgrade disc of Windows 7 Pro x64. I know there are methods to do a clean install from the upgrade disc. My ultimate goal is to copy the unattended install to my 8GB XT flash drive and use that. Has anyone here used an upgrade disc for this? Or is everyone using the full install disc? Thanks Mike
  7. Are any people creating unattended installs with upgrade discs? Or is everyone using the full blown Windows 7 discs? I have an upgrade disc and tried to do an unattended install with 7Customizer and I ran into the issue of Microsoft not letting me install w/o a previous version. Thanks Mike
