yup .. the newer $OEM$ folder worked a treat... thanks for your time and solution mritter...

i have tried 7.2.0 but the icons down the left hand side are missing from the WPI.hta... i will check your other posts about the $OEM$ folder...

i dont think that it is the start .exe... i run wpi from a dvd using 'runwpi.cmd' .... it might be me running a cleanup .cmd at the end, but i doubt it... it looks like the install has lost its 'path' at the end, then desides to crash as it cant find the rb_config.js, then it just hangs... if i knew what file the code is contained and what part i may be able to correct it, but as yet i cannot find it... thank you for your time, its much apreciated..

afer winxp install... its happening right at the end of WPI on the last app... i have to use the three fingerd salute to kill WPI to get to the desktop.. i notice that the rb_config.js is still in the root of the hdd... is this because its not loading the desktop before install?

hi, i'm using WPI 7.1 and after the install has finished i get an error saying ''could not open reboot config file'' rb_config.js any ideas?
