I got a HP Compaq nc6120 laptop and i want to get win98se running on
it. I can't get the graphics adapter to work in win98se. It's an
intel 915 gm/910ml/915ms graphics chip. I got intel chipset software
installation utility version 6.3.0.1007. so The basic driver is
installed. Still the standard graphics adapter only has 16 colors and i
want 256, 16-bit, 32bit colors. How do i install the graphics adapter
for the intel 915 gm/910ml/915ms graphics chip?

There is no Intel Windows 98 driver for 915GM graphics adapter.

You can try to use Scitech driver, downloadable here: http://my.scitechsoft.com/

Try forcing the 865 drivers on it.

Might need some hex editing.

I had started a project to support 900 series chipsets but I'm too busy with other things sad.gif
