  1. Thanks so much, dencorso, for posting this. I definitely found it interesting, beautiful, and enjoyable, as I'm sure others who watched it did, also. Basically, he takes his individual recorded movement through space and time, copies it numerous times, and translates each copy to a different spatial coordinate, so that at a particular spatial coordinate in the composite, the motion (i.e., the time) is the same. This is most easily seen in the first row of figures in "Stumblers". That is, if you fix your eyes on one place on the pavement, you always have the same motion going on. The rows of stumblers in the background are the same as the first row, only smaller as they recede into the background, obviously. The result is hypnotically beautiful, as everyone can see. Here is "Stumblers": "Pictogram", shown below, reminds me very much of a userbar I made a couple of years ago, titled "I am a runner". "Pictogram": "I am a runner": "I am a runner" was made from a 6-frame animated GIF of a figure running in place. The complete details of the construction are given in the post I made about it, at http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/152748-custom-avatars-and-signatures/?p=999961 In short, the GIF was copied 6 times, the copies were spatially translated, and each copy was put out of sync relative to the other copies, as I explain. In the userbar, you can't see the entire figures, but I show them in their entirety, with details of the construction, in a post I made at http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/152748-custom-avatars-and-signatures/?p=1000447 Here are the complete figures in motion: Of course, the GIF artist who draws with humans is dealing with many more orders of magnitude in complexity than what I dealt with in making my simple animated GIFs. Thanks again, dencorso!Much appreciated!Larry

  3. Hi fuwi, Thanks After so much time spent on SE projects, I'll try to stay around. For small corrections or updates in server, it should be possible, I hope. For support, new ideas or develop new features, it's another story, certainly not in the first times. I Hope that all good guys around who likes to play with PE, will bring some ideas, new dev and new plugins to make live these projects, as you already did B) See you soon
