I recently installed a trimmed Vista Ultimate, it lacks alot of features like Windows Media Player, is there anyway that i can install some of the removed features?
ps: i have googled Windows Media Player 11 for Vista but cant seem to find it

you can install internet explorer 7 and windows media player. both you should find with google, searching for the name and download.

you cant "restore" other components.

you won't find media player for vista. it's only for xp. You can try if you want but i'm not sure it will work.

That's why its the XP version.

WMP11 for Vista is built differently.

Since Vista includes IE7 and WMP11 you won't find installers for them. If you want something back you have to redo your DVD with vLite and reinstall Vista. IE7 too is built differently for Vista.
