i upgraded to version 5.04, awhile ago, and i got this error msg during installation, the thing is i've tried to repair it but to no avail, and i did not uninstall the previous version before installing 5.04, how do i solve this?

I updated the xvid libraries in 5.0.4 and forgot to check its requirements.

Uninstall VCP.
Install this Microsoft redistributable.
Install VCP again.

Shark, any way to add some reg tweaks or .cmd/.bat files to your installer for the xvid.ax file instead of the separate M$ .exe?

Well Roobaj, although "installing something as simple and harmless as this isn't a problem", it is a kind of a pain when deploying something as useful as Shark's VCP to 50+ systems company-wide... BUT having to also deploy a 4+ MB M$ file out with it prior, silently, so user's don't have to interact with it.

So Shark, in the interim, any way to snag a previous silent 5.0.3 version from you (since it didn't have the error)? I tried vcpack503_addon.7z from http://shark007.xpdnc.org/ but 5.0.3's gone now. Thx!
