Here's mine.

* Vis Style is my personal mod of Milk 2.0 by lennard
* The little clock in the left side of the Taskbar is an html script.
* The blurred pic is a Konfabulator slideshow of my gf
* The clock and sysmeter are Rainmeter skins
* The calendar and to-do are from Rainlendar
* The weather and countdown are from Konfabulator
* The bordered icons on the left are ShortPopUp menus.

How do you hide the recycling bin!?!?! and not the rest of the folders on the desktop?

Download TweakUI from Microsoft. It has an option to hide the Recycle Bin in there.

i dont feel like downloading a whole program to do one think with it. Is there any other soloution? how did u get the recycling bin of the desktop?

TweakUI has many other really handy features... it's only a few KB download.

But if you still don't want to, there's a registry entry that you can modify to hide the recycling bin. I don't know exactly what it is, but I know that you can find it in the Unattended Windows section in the Registry Tweaks thread.

EDIT - Oh... and a quick simple search for "Hide Recycle Bin" does the trick too...

if you have XP Pro:
click Start > run > gpedit.msc
click user configuration > adminstrative temlpates > desktop
on the right hand you will find Remove recycle bin
double click on it > enabled

also you will find a lot of other options there...

@ puner89, yes this is because windows MCE is XP Pro + MC applications.

@ Ivanov : i like your taskbar, i think you had rearranged the toolbars in a new way...?

forgot to write some infos:

desktop: active desktop (+ run protocol handler)
picture: taken from devart (author unknown?!). a little bit modified.
rainlendar: skin = none, only text + the picture as the todo's background.
system: highly hacked xp pro, sp1.
visual style: MINUS4[]/2 (modified. the same as last time btw. + new desk color)
icons: hehe, there is nowhere!
fonts: mainly drifter five (modified) and somewhere hooge 05_53.
winamp skin: sumea .amp, recolored + modded. (i plan to change it)
miranda: skin = none, default, + tabsrmm.dll + hacks.
console window: console v1.5
desktopmenu picture: byblos shell extension
desktop "shortcuts" menu item: with contextaware shell extension
systray icons: made by me

no, but it need some work in order to run correctly

from Folder option show hidden and protected files

navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Pictures

open Dekstop.ini

you will find a section [.ShellClassInfo]

paste this code but replace "C:/myicon.ico" with the path to your icon:

IconFile=C:/myicon.ico
IconIndex=0

save it.

the icon is changed without any software.
