I played around with nLite a few months back, but I kept getting File Protection problems so I decided to use RyanRVM to integrate and then I just made my own registry file to apply tweaks with. But I have a question, I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but what is it that causes the File Protection problem? Is it integrating the updates or drivers? Or is it the tweaks or removing of components? The reason I ask is because i really like how nLite integrates drivers. It works so much better than just using the .SIF file to do so. So my question is basically, can I use nLite for just adding drivers and building the ISO and not worry at all about the File Protection?
If not is there a way to more or less easily integrate drivers into the windows install CD? The reason I ask is I have a computer that needs SATA/RAID drivers to recognize the hard drive, but I don't have a floppy drive and don't want to put one in so I want to integrate the drivers for that. But it would also be nice to integrate all the driver not just the SATA. I have visited the Unattended Guide and used their method but it just doesn't work as well..
