Do i need to have x64 windows installed to slipstream SP2 or is it possible to make slipstream on x86 windows with x64 cpu?

If i remember reading somewhere else....yes you need to be on a x64 system to slipstream x64 sp2

is there a reason y i need a 64 bit OS to slipstream a 64 bit SP? that troublesome...

it's just the way ms do it
doesn't take long to install it tbh
install xp64, make an xp64sp2 disc from there, keep it safe, then make a copy of the disc to cut things out with nlite
