I'm no guru when it comes to web design, but I've created a number of web pages using MS Word that has done the trick.

Here is my issue: When I create an image I usually save it in .png format which in turn (when inserted into a web page) is transferred to a .gif image upon the saving of the HTML document. I have noticed that when the image is transferred/converted, it usually begins to distort or fray on the edges.

What do I do to prevent this issue? There has got to be a way to keep image clarity and crispness without losing it.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,
ripken204
ya, dont use word. it is either converting the image incorrectly, or not at all. or it is not resizing the image.

Word is aweful for web design. If you absolutely must have a wysiwyg editor, use frontpage. Dreamweaver is actually pretty darn good, but it's expensive.

dreamweaver is by far the best. i dont use it as a wysiwyg but it has many good built in features.

I never use wysiwyg. But dreamweaver's coding view kicks butt. biggrin.gif
