1) will there be a new release of this package (last one is 2.1.11)
2) when sp3 will be out officially, will it be possible to add it on top of an installation containing post sp2 package?

2. i think u misunderstood me. currently i slipstreamed sp2 and then added the post sp2 pack (all using nlite)
so i have a folder ready to be burn with sp2+post sp2 (from which i burn the installation disc)
in the future, if i want to slipstream sp3, it will contain post sp2 + some additions
wont there be some conflicts?
(notice im not talking about slipstreaming sp3 instead of sp2+post sp2, since sp2 + post sp2 are already inside the installation folder)

when slipstreaming a new SP, always do it to a clean source..

as in unmodified XP or XPSP1 or XPSP2 source
