Shortly after i installed Vista Ultimate, wmp wont respond at all.

It does not open when clicked through the shortcut, nor does it open when i try to click on a media file.
Also it will not open when run as administrator. Iv tried to use the revert to previous version but it says there is not any. Also there is no way that i can find to uninstall it, nor where to redownload it for reinstallation.

It seems as tho something does happen when i try to start wmp, the mouse arrow turns into the little circle icon but in a few seconds it just gives up and nothing happens.

Anybody help me out to get it working agian id like that, i just bascially use it to view media online not so much for music itself.

try to remove the program viz add /remove programs> windows features >wmp> uncheck reboot then reinstall same way see if that work this is the first i have seen this i have vista biz ed

huh? not exactly sure what you mearn. wmp doesnt show under remove programs. is there a special place to uninstall it and once i uninstall it how would i go about reinstalling it?

bump cause i cant find the solution on the internet.
