I have a very annoying problem with WMCE.

When viewing TV on my computer, if WMCE is shut down with the remote control (supplied with my computer) then the next time I try to start up WMCE for TV viewing I get audio and a grey screen (no picture on any channel). The only way to fix it is to go through the TV signal set-up routine in WMCE. I have installed all the updates to no avail. My TV signal is coming through a set-top box. Any help on this subject is appreciated. I am only quasi computer savvy so please keep any response on that level.

This update fixes your specific problem. However, this update is supposed to be part of Update rollup2 for MCE 2005. You should install this rollup asap to ensure that you have most of the relevant updates.
