I have been using nlite pretty extensively for my EeePC and have found it a pretty invaluable tool. After a handful of bumps and bruises I've worked out what I consider the optimum amount of stuff that can be removed without causing any immediate issues.
However one thing I've noticed is that IconPackager from Stardock doesn't seem to work anymore. It took me a lot of narrowing down to deduce that was the problem once I set my system up, but it's pretty clearly that.
The program itself when installing gives me an activation path error but it seems to work anyway. Then if I reboot the computer again, I will find that Explorer.exe seems to hang and restart over and over and over until I go into safe mode and uninstall IconPackager.
I'm using it across four other computers and have never had an issue before, and if I install XP stock it works fine, so I'm reasonably certain I nlite'd-out something integral. The question is if any of you might have an idea WHAT, and how I can get it back.
Thanks again for any support, and a big thank you to the developer(s) of this tool, those of us with Eees have really benefited a lot.
