Excellent nuhi, this is my favourite nLite version yet. Have created 2 seperate isos (one for main machine, one for laptop) without a single issue. Flawless Victory!

What I did first was to create a new WinXP x64 SP2 DVD (with IE7 + WMP11 + WMP11 updates) and at the same time i turned it into an unattended boot disk as well.
That one worked a treat. After that, I rebooted my PC and used nLite to copy my new updated DVD to my HDD, i then added WinXP x64 hotfixes plus some other addons and then modded WinXP. Burned it to DVD and now all is ok.
nuhi, after update to last version (silent-update) all problems solved, i think.
maybe some of the tweaks don`t work proper, but i don`t mind `cause i do so much regtweaks...

I have discovered the WMP11 slipstreamer only installed the 32-bit version of WMP11 and not the 64-bit version. 
Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions have to be installed and that explains why there were no hotfixes for WMP11 x64. I had to install them both (WMP11 x64 & hotfixes) manually in-order to fix an error with WinXP x64. Otherwise nLite 1.4.5 Beta 2 worked a treat!

wmp slipstreamer works both with x32 and x64 versions of wmp11. also hotfix listed on the site have both version for x32 and x64 wmp 11.
final u are not coherent at all.......

Some kinda problem here, too. When loading an .INI created by nLite v1.4.1, the themes were displayed as being added, but I was unable to choose a default theme in nLite. Removing them caused an error message. After the themes were "re-added" and Windows was installed, no theme in the list that came after the one I chose as default in nLite was available in the dropdown list within Windows (although they were copied).

and it would have been better to use WMP11 slipstreamer before nLite so that WMP11 x64 (inc. hotfixes) are fully integrated into my WinXPx64 disk and now all is ok! 
Not one single error with my WinXPx64 installation disk either!

I can confirm all that also, along with Xable's updates 1.7, OGE_OUE, some of Mrs. Peel's and Kel's addons.
no errors, no updates listed on MS upd.

yeah I cant integerate IE7 or IE8, I also slipstreamed SP3(3302) on SP2 source. I did manage to integrate WMP11 though.

The 1.4.5b2 seems to be fix the post-install standard usb devices problem ... in fact I have always "Found new hardware" and I must confirm install even with reg tweak (as my first post http://www.msfn.org/board/Suppressing-Hard...268#entry444268 ) .. I have retried with this beta with just integrated sata drivers and it's to be okay.

Not sure what you mean but I also am getting the message to choose which Windows to boot... Which makes no sense, obviously.

Nope i can't use that one. I'm using WinXP Pro x64 and not the x86 version.
Could we get the possibility to set the state of more services in future? I have to manually tweak some of them after installation. And no, I really mean Windows services, not those that kick in after install drivers and other stuff.
Would it be possible to add a feature to copy your current windows xp activation files to the cd and automatically restore them after xp setup? A tutorial I read online says all that is needed to do is copy wpa.dbl and wpa.bak from your current xp install, then after reinstalling, reboot in safe mode and copy them back. <I CANT CONFIRM THIS AS 100%, maybe someone that knows more about it can shed some light> A feature for this built right into nLite would be awesome. There would really be no harm because if your hardware configuration changes it will reject the wpa.dbl anyways, so people couldn't use this to 'hack' windows.

i am new to nlite and installing xp. i bought a new Toshiba laptop in Tunis and want to remove XP french and replace it with XP english (Windows XP Professional Corp Service Pack 3, 2006 v.2.0)
1. i am reading the nlite directions from http://www.nliteos.com/guide/part1.html to part 3.
2. i take it that for SP3 i need to use beta 2 nlite, but that the above guide can lead me through the steps.
3. then i copy the I386 directory from the english version of SP3 to a folder on the desktop (my SP3 CD has other folders on it as well)
4. i download nlite beta 2 and run it to do the installation of xp professional sp3.
Are the above 4 steps correct?

yeah, the steps looks ok
it is not apparent which file to choose. nlite asks to Select a Service Pack Executable, but autorun and setup seem to be the only executables in the I386 directory. Would the file be hidden? i have attached prtscrn (jpg) files to illustrate.

You have to download SP3. The file is called WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe

You need to integrate SATA drivers for your notebooks chipset.

Reporting that patching hacks (TCPIP, SFC, UXTHEME) seem to break a slipstreamed XP SP3 RTM install. IIS will not install, WMI ditto, Task Manager will not show user name owning a process, 99% of true addons do not install (they seem to integrate OK, but are absent from the finished product)

I have my original XP CD which has had SP1, SP1a, SP2, and now SP3 slipstreamed into it. I have copied it to my HDD as normal and made a customised CD. I haven't used nLite for about 3 months but I am doing nothing different than I did then.
I have integrated Intel's AHCI drivers as txtmode drivers, removed stuff I don't want and everything else. When I install Windows, it finds the HDD in the text portion of the install, reboots and does the graphical setup of Windows. Then on the first boot, it comes up with 0x7B. If I disable AHCI, it still comes up. I can install Windows in IDE mode fine, just not AHCI.
I have also tried Lenovo's AHCI driver but the results are the same as they seem identical to Intel's Original Version.
I am using an IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T61p laptop which uses either the "82801GBM" or the "82801HEM/HBM" southbridge. Here is a copy of my Session file:

Please let me know if there is anything I am doing wrong or something I should change. I think everything is OK though...
has anyone got b2 working with sp3 rtm! as u cab see, im missing the quick launch bar in the taskbar, missing media player & windows explorer shortcuts in the start menu, media player doesnt even work! not even sure what im doing wrong to be honest?

I had a similar experience (with nLite 1.4.1), when slipstreaming SP3 RTM and using unnatended options (CDKEY etc.). The result: missing Windows components (OOBE, WMP etc.).

added a bunch of addons (silent installers running at T-13 and .net 2sp1 and 3sp1 at guirunonce)
removed some components (languages, msn explorer, security center, windows tour etc....)
configuring the unatended part
configuring some services and tweaks
patched themes, connections limits and deactivated SFC,
tested on VirtuialBox and only one thing will not work: DirectX_9.0c_End-User_Runtime_AddOn_0.3.3_-_redxii, but i think it's because it's designed for RVM integrator.

where is the patch ?
I can't see the full path and filename when trying to integrate a driver.
I'm using the multi driver option.
The window is not scrolling and so it clipping off at the right.
I've attached a screenshot.
Can this be fixed please?
