I have a new CDROM Windows XP professional UPGRADE with SP2 + key.
Is it possible to use nLIte to install this XP prof on a brand-new system or will I be bothered by requests for former versions?

You can use nLite to install this XP prof on a brand-new system, but you will still end up with a (modded?) UPGRADE disk. Means you'll still have to pop in an earlier version of MS Windows.
