If I start downloading updates, then

a) a WUD error appeares and the program closes

the Internet connection drops and I have to stop the program

I have to relaunch the program and start downloading again. The problem is that WUD doesn't "see" the already downloaded updates and starts from the beginning.

I'd need more information on the Exception in order to help you.
