You obviously don't have prefetch enabled. smile.gif

Just kidding, welcome to the forum!

Prefetch is when Windows tries to guess what you will do next and preloads that program (in reality, many programs). Works best if you have lots of ram and your usage habbits don't change often. IMHO, useless, but others disagree.

i meant, when i search it with "prefetch functionality", since this concept is unknown for me, i never think to assume it would be the same as "windows xp prefetch"
