If you could please provide more details on what the message says, when it appears, and anything that happens around that time that could be related, then it would make it much easier for us to help you, since the information you have provided so far is not enough for us to know what the problem is. For example, is this after formatting for a clean install, or after formatting a partition using the disk management utility? Thanks!

Are you trying to format it from Windows?

Now there's a scary thought.
Although windows doesn't let you format the system or boot partitions.
