I was a bit surprised to see MSI win the test. Also, a bit surprised to learn that the boards technology will auto-overclock the CPU when a heavy load is required. Pretty neat feature.

This is how it all fell out,

The Winner:
MSI K8T Neo

The losers:
Asus K8V
Biostar K8VHA Pro
Chaintech ZNF3-150
Epox EP-8HDA3+
Gigabyte GA-K8NNXP
Gigabyte GA-K8VNXP
Shuttle AN50R

The "auto-Overclock" feature you are refering to is called DOT: Dynamic overclocling technology.IT has been intergrated to the MSI neo2 mobo for the P4 and now we will be seeing it in the MSI 5950 Ultra vid card!
Very impressive technology indeed!
You can even set the amount that it will increase on the fly in the bios by setting from none, average and aggressive(or somthing of that nature)
MSI seems to be taken the cake in most test these days...Providing freature enriched, top performing, motherboards at a very reasonable price.
Meanwhile ASUS has been droping the ball IMHO, I have seen a large quantity of retures and Dead MOBOs directly from asus!

In Regards to the new K800 and Nforce3 chipset...im not quite impressed yet. Seems that they are having a decent amount of problems getting the Hyper-Trasport to work properly, not to mention there are some aparent instability issues among some other not so nice bugs.
IT seems to me that it takes the AMD chipset manufactures a few reversions to get a bug free and stable chipset out on the market, while Intel seems to nail it the first time (example 845pe, 865p, 875)
None the less its good to see a driving force behind the AMD scene...its about time they are actully the rated speed they advertise!

And Compititon is always good!
/end rant
