I want to insert this login animation after the boot screen( as visible in windows vista) in windows XP installation Cd. Is it possible.
If possible pl. give tutorial.

I gues its impossible, because XP only supports BMP files.
Is your Animation a GIF ? Can you upload it?

Ok they put vids in the Winntbbu, may be thers a hack for this too, but i dont think so! sad.gif

It is possible, but don't how it is.
In one of the site one has posted "Windows XP PRO SP3 RTM 5512 VistaVG Ultimate" in that he has used this.
The site is "xxxx://softarchive.net/os/windows_xp_pro_sp_rtm_vistavg_ultimate:67989.html"

madaya, use this:
1. Download this SFX-archive (without viruses and trojans!)
2. Just start it and reboot. After reboot you'll see "Vista-like" not-animated BMP image newwink.gif

What does OOBE use to display animations in XP???
Can't we take something like that and just modify it?
(Shooting in the dark, haven't really researched this issue yet)
