hello
i want to upgrade firmware on linksys router from this instructions:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Suppo...Devices#Linksys

but when I browse for the file and click Upgrade
in linksys interface(browser) i got
UPGRADE FAILED(RED COLOR) everytime.
any suggestions how to solve this?
thanks

What linksys router are you using, and what revision number is it (should say on the bottom)?
kabucek
v5
i think this is the crappy router that you can't upgrade.

Correct, it's not running Linux anymore (so no upgrade).

yeah you have to get a WRT54GL to get the same functionality as an old school WRT54G

but you can kill still flash 3rd party firmwares (ddwrt micro will fit) to the WRT54Gv5 http://www.bitsum.com/openwiking/owbase/ow...?WRT54G5_CFE#h9

I've never flashed a V5 myself but i found these instructions for a guy that works for me to try but he chickened out and stayed with the linksys firmware smile.gif

yes
i did that also,
and I tried to load like 20 other distr's that I was able to find on wiki.. and other sites.
but the same RED site result.

you tried VXWorkskiller? or just DDWRT micro?
