So I have a WIN XP CD (original) with no SP on it (not even SP1) and I was wondering if i could slipstream SP3 directly on it or should I first slipstream SP1 or SP2 and then SP3?

Thanks for the help!

PS. I was reading Windows XP SP3 FAQ on this forum and i don't understand one thing : it says I need XP SP1a or greater for the OS I will be executing the slipstream process under. The Source/Destination OS can be any SP level (though most recommend that SP3 only be slipstreamed into SP0/GOLD/RTM Source.

What does that mean? That I don't need any SP before SP3?

yes u may slipstream sp3 on a sp0 (gold xp cd).
u need at least sp1 IF u install sp3 on a live system running xp.
