Will a motherboard that supports Dual Channel DDR 400 memory work with 333 memory in dual channel mode?
I currently have 2 matched DDR333 modules which I will use in the new motherboard.
Thanks for the help!

[speculation]Technically, it would work as long as the modules are matched. It's just that they are going to work at 333 MHz.
If the CPU frequency is 166, it's gonna be fine. If it's higher, then the CPU is gonna wait for the memory, but it would work.[/speculation]

Dual chan will work regardless of the speed of the memory.
You will just be running at 666 rather then 800 with the DDR400

Maybe this will help:
The Front Side Bus speed of the processor can have an effect on the speed of the memory. See the chart below.
Memory Speed Configurations
Processor DIMM Actual Memory
FSB speed Speed
400MHz 266MHz 266MHz
400MHz 333MHz 266MHz
400MHz 400MHz 266MHz
533MHz 266MHz 266MHz
533MHz 333MHz 333MHz
533MHz 400MHz 333MHz
800MHz 400MHz 400MHz
800MHz 333MHz 320MHz
800MHz 266MHz 266MHz
Well the chart didn't configure correctly in th post. Hope you understand anyway...

yes it should support it from what i read about it, you just cant go above the 400, but even in the 400 mark , its still alittle buggy, but id stick with 400 but keep in mind some progs dont work to well with this one yet

I really recommend that you get a Matched pair, they perform that little bit quicker. I have some Kingston matched pair RAM, they're quite nice and quick
