Has anyone managed to get WMI working in PE? I've not really had a chance to play with PE much yet, but if you can use WSH to control and launch installations being able to query the hardware using WMI could give you some interesting options. It seems an odd thing for MS to leave out.

I think the files is called buildoptionalcomponents.vbs or something similiar and it pretty much steps you through what to do.

Buildoptionalcomponents only can add VBS, HTA, or ADO. WMI is added using mkimg.cmd.

Sorry read the post to fast, my mistake.
WMI is only present in 2004 and up to my knowledge. And is added when as mentioned above, by running mkimg.cmd with the /wmi switch.
