Do you mean a driver inf file name as: *.inf_64?

In that case no. The x64 components of an *.inf file are specified with decorations (NTamd64), see here.

Thanks for your reply.
I ran across a driver folder containing two files: *.inf_64 and *.sys_64. I found a number of references to inf_64 drivers via Google and wondered if this was a special extension for 64 bit OSs. I just DLed one of the Google found drivers (inf_64.zip) and extracted it and there were no *.inf_64 or sys_64 files. Don't know where this crazy one I ran across came from.

This might be a method to distinguish the x64 versions from the x32 versions, although unnessary. I guess the idea is that you rename the *.inf_64 if any, if you want to use them.
