So I'm just trying to replace s***ty Vista on my Vaio laptop with Windows XP. After I copied the contents of the winxp cd, I try to open it with N-lite, only to receive the error:
"Unknown windows version, please report."

Recopy the files, or let nlite do the copying. Its mssing a file somewhere most likely.

JermRiddled,
What is your version of nLite?
Are your CDs OEM, Retail or recovery CDs?
You might post a screen shot of you CD content and/or your HDD folder content (Explorer window).

According to this page -
http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=366 - you have SP2b Educational version?
I'd never heard of SP2b but, apparently, these versions don't work with the integrate switch, so that may be the issue.
