I have downloaded AIK here :

And run it from a server 2008 machine (x64 Datacenter).
I am trying to create an answer file but when opening the windows image I receive the following error :

is this a 64-bit WIM file you are trying to open? why are working on this from a datacenter server?? WAIK should never be installed on a server like that

Generally speaking it's because the WAIK and the Image it's trying to open aren't compatible, I had the same when I tried to open an SP1 image on the older version of the WAIK.

Are you sure that you downloaded the newer WAIK rather than the older one
