I just installeed MCE 2005 without the 2005 CCD. Alsao, when i nstalling MCE I didn't use CD 2 to leave out all the MCE stuff as I don't use it. Well, now I try to use remote assistant and it says a generic,"A program could not start. Please try again." but remote assistant is running and I can continue all the way to e-mail invitation and it gets the same error message,"A program could not start. Please try again".

Is there a way to get remote assistant to install manually? I checked add/remove programs and seen nothing. I think it is just a service not being installed and think otther programs besides MCE were not installed. also, I installed all of window's updates and still nothing. although I couldn't install media player 11 or windows search 4.0
