Hey Guys,

I'm new to both vLite and WPI.
However I can't get WPI to launch after Windows Installs.
I'm using Vista Ultimate x64

I've tried the "sources" as provided by WPI (setupcomplete.cmd) and that just returns that Windows cannot find the specified file
I've even tried using the Runwpi.exe used to launch WPI in XP, but that hasn't had a result.

Read somewhere that you could use install.wim to do it, but for starters I have no idea how to modify it and the provided guide is absolutly massive to read.

How is it not as easy as it is with XP blink.gif

Can someone who has gotten WPI with Vlite to work provide an easy to read and follow, short how to, because after about 3 hours of google and browsing these forums, I have turned up no definate, easy and short answer, only answers i've turned up is "Try moddifying install.wim and run it with %program files%"
That doesn't help a complete newbe rolleyes.gif

After downloading the sources archive, just extract it to where you have the Vista source files. Ive done this and it works.

If you do need help with WPI there is a forum and perhaps they can give further detailed instructions.

I can't straight out use their file though as I already have a pre existing setupcompleted file.

I've tried posting in their forum and they arn't helping, they havn't replied for 24 hours, and keep skipping the question when they do reply.
I was hoping someone here would know.

I'll give what you said a shot, and just straight out replace the file. but I have doubts
